Personal Experience

I have had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, and families across a wide range of challenges. Over the years, I’ve guided clients through struggles such as depression, loneliness, life transitions, and perfectionism, as well as relational difficulties like family conflicts and relationship challenges.

I also support those dealing with anxiety, body image concerns, trauma, and identity issues, including LGBTQIA+ matters. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are in your life right now, offering support during your most challenging times, and helping you gain a deeper understanding of yourself. My goal is to highlight your unique strengths and help you uncover solutions that resonate with who you are, empowering you to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.

Supporting Adults

Everyone brings unique strengths and challenges to therapy, so I believe in using a variety of approaches to best meet your needs. My approach is grounded in creating a supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment, helping you feel truly heard and valued. Together, we might delve into your past experiences to uncover patterns that influence your current behavior, or we may focus on reshaping your personal story to give you a greater sense of control over your life.

When working with you, I also draw on techniques that provide practical tools for managing stress, anxiety, and negative thoughts. It’s important to me that our work together helps you live a life aligned with your values, even when facing challenges that are out of your control. Throughout this process, I strive to incorporate mindfulness and emotional awareness, guiding you in managing intense emotions and building stronger relationships. I’m also deeply committed to honoring your cultural background, ensuring that our sessions are relevant and empowering for you. By blending these different approaches, I aim to create a personalized experience that supports you in overcoming obstacles and building a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

Supporting Couples

In my work with couples, I primarily use Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) to help partners understand and transform their emotional responses, which often lie at the heart of relational conflicts. EFT allows couples to connect more deeply by addressing the underlying emotions that drive their interactions, helping to build a stronger and more resilient relationship.

I also recognize that every couple brings their own unique dynamics to therapy, including cultural backgrounds, gender identities, and other aspects of identity. I am committed to creating an inclusive and respectful space where both partners feel seen and valued. This means ensuring that the therapy process honors and integrates your individual and shared experiences, helping you navigate challenges with a deeper understanding of one another. By blending these elements into our work together, I strive to support couples in building a relationship that not only thrives but is also deeply connected and respectful of who they are as individuals and as partners.

Treatment Approach

I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to tailor our sessions to your needs. Internal Family Systems (IFS) helps you explore and heal different parts of yourself, while Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) encourages living a life aligned with your values. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is key for improving relationships, and mindfulness techniques are incorporated to help manage stress and emotions. I also prioritize a multicultural, gender-sensitive, and LGBTQ-affirming approach, ensuring that your cultural background, gender identity, and sexual orientation are respected and fully integrated into our work together. By blending these and other approaches, I aim to create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore, grow, and overcome challenges.

Ready to Get Started

I hope I have a chance to work with you on a journey of self-discovery and growth. Together, we can explore new perspectives and create a more meaningful and fulfilling life. I look forward to being a supportive connection for you and helping you grow into your best self.
