Personal Experience

Ever since I can remember, I’ve been drawn to helping people find comfort and understanding in their lives. I’ve always been curious about how people relate to their world, particularly why we sometimes get caught in mental traps that lead to destructive behavior. While earning my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, I realized that my lifelong fascination with behavior and emotions could truly help people navigate through their toughest challenges.

Support for Eating Disorders

Since 2012, I have worked closely with individuals facing eating disorders and addiction, understanding that these challenges often reflect deeper issues and trauma. I’ve assisted many clients in replacing self-destructive behaviors—such as eating disorders, self-harm, and substance abuse—with acceptance and self-love. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and challenge the thoughts that fuel these behaviors, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide tools for managing emotions and reducing the urge to engage in harmful habits. Family Systems theory helps us explore how your family relationships might play a role in your recovery, while my integrative approach focuses on fostering self-compassion and empowerment. My goal is to support you in building a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Support for Adults

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with many individuals struggling with anxiety and depression. My approach is all about finding what works best for you. I combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a Strength-Based focus to help you shift negative thoughts and recognize your inner strengths. I also draw on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to offer practical tools for managing intense emotions and building stronger relationships. Family Systems theory is another key piece, helping you see how your family dynamics might be influencing your current situation. Together, we’ll work to create a life that feels more manageable, meaningful, and fulfilling.

Treatment Approach

I believe that therapy can be a transformative experience for anyone who sincerely desires change. Whether you’re facing feelings of distress, struggling in your relationships, or seeking to better understand yourself, the right therapeutic approach can offer significant relief and personal growth. In our work together, we’ll focus on relieving the immediate distress while also developing the skills you need to manage anxiety, build more satisfying relationships, and increase your personal awareness and insight.

Therapy isn’t just about solving problems; it’s about uncovering new possibilities for how you live and experience your life. We’ll work together to create a path forward that honors your unique story and strengths. Rather than simply addressing symptoms, I strive to help you connect with a deeper sense of meaning and purpose. This journey is about empowering you to face life’s challenges with resilience, embracing the changes ahead as opportunities to grow into the person you want to become. My approach is rooted in genuine empathy and a commitment to walking alongside you as you navigate this process of healing and self-discovery.

Ready to Get Started?

Change is never easy, but with the right support, it’s possible to learn, grow, and come out stronger on the other side. I’m here to walk with you every step of the way.I believe therapy can benefit everyone who sincerely wishes to see a change in his or her life. Appropriate therapy can relieve feelings of distress, increase satisfaction in interpersonal relationships, create skills for managing anxiety, and help grow greater personal awareness and insight. Difficult changes have no specific design, but with help, you can learn from them, grow with them, and be better because of them.
